There is just SO MUCH happening at Rumors Has It! consignment and resale store right now. We have been BUSY, BUSY getting ready for spring! Stop in soon to grab all the great bargains and see everything that’s new!

We’ve also been working really hard to get our website and online store up and running for you. It’s almost ready. It is just so exciting. You can catch a sneak peek of the website at www.rumorshasitonline.com. The online store is simply amazing, I can’t wait for you to see it. We hope to have it open within a week.

We will be opening the online store with over 130 Melissa & Doug Wooden Toys and Puzzles and will be adding additional product every day. If you are looking for a specific Melissa & Doug item and don’t see it in the online store, contact us, we may have it.

If you aren’t already familiar with the Melissa & Doug products, you simply have to check them out. They are AWESOME!! Some of my personal favorites are the Mighty Builder items. If you are as old as me you’ll remember the plastic car models from our childhoods with all the messy glue and paint. I remember everything sticking to my fingers and ending up with a gluey, nasty mess. The Mighty Builders are WOOD models, there are currently five available, and all the pieces are pre-cut and pre-painted and you assemble the model with a screwdriver. Easy to follow instructions–seriously–I’ve assembled all 5 myself!! No glue, no painting, no mess! And then, the best part is, after you have assembled the toy you have a sturdy, well-constructed toy to play with. The fire truck has a ladder that extends and swivels, the tow truck has a working tow wrench, the garbage truck lifts and dumps trash, and the jet plane and race car have operable wheels! These are amazing wood vehicle models that will provide endless hours of imaginative play–be sure you check them out. I have more favorites also, but I’ll write about some others in another post soon.

You’ll also find our handmade, wax dipped, critters in the online store! These are a really unique air freshener that is perfect for those rooms where you don’t want open candle flames such as nursing homes, dorm rooms and baby nurseries etc. These are stuffed animals that we have hand dipped in triple scented soy wax. They are adorable! They smell great for months and months! They can be refreshed by warming slightly with a warm hair dryer. Be sure to check these out when you visit our online store. (I’ll get some pictures posted soon-but you’ll also be able to see pictures in the online store soon.)

And last, but certainly not least, don’t forget all the wonderful bargains you can find in our brick and mortar resale store. We have a great selection of teen clothing and children and infants. We are currently clearancing the winter items and each day adding spring/summer items.
